You're Invited to Digital Beach Summer Camp!
Build your Skills to Rule the Web - Starting July 10th
Are you baffled by RGB and CMYK? Flummoxed by file types? Distressed by dpi? Do you yearn for short and simple explanations? Then rejoice! I'm kicking off July with a Digital Summer Camp web series called The Secret Life of Images. Over the next eight weeks, you'll learn hands-on skills like how to resize and optimize images for your website and social media. You'll also gain valuable deeper understanding about image formats (Vector? Raster?), file types and we'll crack the mystery of resolution. Best of all, it's totally free and there's nothing to do but watch for a new episode by email every week. Join my mailing list.
Partner Program July Raffle
Everyone who joins my Partner Program before July 25th will get the usual cool Power Pack by mail AND be automatically entered into a drawing for a handsome clipboard pre-stocked with my 12 month marketing planner and a nifty emoji clip-on pouch to hold your flash drives and other goodies. It's perfect for hitting the beach while working on your marketing! To see the kit, pop into my Instagram account next week. To enter simply sign up for my free Partner Program before July 25th.
As a kid, summer was a break from school that meant learning about things I actually wanted to know, like how to build a fort, fix a bike or understand the stars. With that in mind, I created the Secret Life of Images series to teach key image web skills in a fast and fun way. I hope you enjoy watching the little videos as much as I'm enjoying making them. Also, I know it's awhile from now, but I want to let you know that I am taking some time off to work on a special project this fall so I will be away from Pixel Lava starting September 1st, returning on September 28th.
Thanks for reading. If you've made it this far, here's your special treat!
