Since the COVID pandemic hit, Zoom has become the platform of choice for everything from employee meetings to online teaching. Zoom is easy to use and low-cost with great features like the ability to share a desktop, phone, tablet or external camera; chat and distribute files with participants; record meetings; and even offer webinars and breakout rooms. Whether you're brand new to Zoom or have been using it for awhile, once you're done playing with the backgrounds you've probably come to realize that Zoom is a powerful tool. I maintain a Pro Zoom account and can host your meetings and classes of any duration in a way that's professional, secure and includes recording your video, adding your branded intro & outro and posting it online for attendees to review (or watch if they couldn't make the live presentation). There's no need to pay for your own Zoom account month after month and hassle with all of the settings when you can get what you actually need and just pay for the time you use.
With the whole world using Zoom it's helpful to remember that there are other options that may work better. For over 10 years I've been using Join.me for online project collaborations and live software training. Join.me is browser based so, unlike Zoom, there is no need to download and configure anything in advance, making it much more accessible to new users. It also works great on mobile. The join.me interface is focused on sharing screen content, rather than the faces of the participants so it's actually a better solution for many uses.
If Facebook is your platform of choice, Facebook Live is a solid option for speaking directly to a live audience. While viewers don't participate via audio & video, they can comment actively, which works great for promoting lively discussions. The built-in audience on Facebook is also a great way to promote your offerings. Facebook live is best suited for linear presentations like a lecture, seminar or show.
Live Streaming to Facebook And YouTube
If your goal is to get your message out as widely as possible in real time, then presenting live AND broadcasting is a great approach. I can host your presentation and simultaneously broadcast it to your Facebook and YouTube Channels (need a channel? No problem). I can also provide real time comment moderation and post production as needed.
Having a smooth, professional online presence has never been more important. From websites to online gatherings and live streaming, I provide patient, friendly, hype-free help. In addition to hosting live online gatherings I can help you prepare your content to work in an online setting, choose and test equipment, practice your presenter skills and work through the details of moving your presentation online. Pricing depends on what you need and is based on my hourly rates. After an initial call I can provide you with an itemized estimate.
